The Girl Who Played With Fire Review

     This is the second novel in the Millennium series by Steig Larsson. The book starts off by talking about Lisbeth Salanser's journey, When Salander finally gets home, she gets caught up in a mess. Nils Bjurman, Lisbeth's legal guardian, wants revenge for what Lisbeth did to him two years ago. Bjurman raped Lisbeth and Lisbeth retaliated by torturing him and giving him a tattoo on his stomach that says "I am a sadistic pig and a rapist."

     Things turn for the worst when Bjurman ends up dead with Dag Svensson and Mia Johanssen. Dag Svensson and Mia Johanssen were plotting to reveal several names linked to sex trade. Mikael walks into the dead bodies of his colleagues. Lisbeth is blamed for the killing of Bjurman, Svensson, and Johanssen. A gun is found with Lisbeth's fingerprints on it. Mikael believes her to be innocent and does his best to prove her innocence.

     The police try their best to find Lisbeth but have no success. Newspapers potray Lisbeth in a negative view. She is said to be pyscho and even a lesbien satanist. It is literally Lisbeth agaist the world. The few friends Lisbeth has, go through a lot of trouble to prove her innocent.

     This novel was expectionally good. I couldn't put it down. I ended up not sleeping because of this book. If you choose to read it, I warn you it will be hard to put down. Stieg Larsson has written a book that will go in history as one of the best mystery novels along with the other two novels from the Millennium series.
