Picable is Triond's website for publishing photos and pictures. You also earn for views you receive on your photographies, but the earnings are pretty low compared to writing articles. In this hopefully helpful article I would like to share some ideas on how to make more money with uploading photos on Picable.

Well, it is a fact that earning from your photos on Picable is not an easy task. Compared to articles, photos do get less views and therefore you earn less. But there are a few things to consider that most users are actually doing wrong. I have tried many things to increase my views and earnings and I would like to share with you, what I have found out. Hopefully, this will help you!

1. Use the Text

The biggest mistake that most people do, is uploading the photo with a simple headline like "My vacation" and no description at all. Sometimes I honestly wonder, why they have added one or two tags, e.g. "vacation" because you can't win anyone with such a headline! Some people seem to not care about Google and other search engines. Or are they hoping to get one or two viewers per decade from they hilarious "My vacation"? I don't know... I only know, that you need a good headline just like for every article you write. It needs to be catchy, it needs to be descriptive and for whoever's sake: Please give a description and useful tags! Those are your keywords both for search engines and for the Triond content search.

Consider the headline or title of your uploaded photo as the most important text! It has to be descriptive, the possible viewer has to know what he or she will see.

2. FREE Advertising

Yeah I know, how could I be so perky to tell you that you actually have to do something to earn money. Oh my gosh...
To be serious: I really do not have any idea why many people think they will become rich by sitting on their butt and doing nothing. Earning money online is not an amusement park. It is hard work, just like in "real life". Without any effort, there will be no earnings!

My Facebook friends are very important for my writing and earning online. They often are the first to see what I have published and they are pretty good in commenting my work.

Not using Facebook and Twitter is a total fail in today's online marketing... so, think about it!

3. No Spam!

This is a very common mistake and I must admit that I myself had done this in the beginning. I was so eager to get paid for uploading photos, that I uploaded 10, 20 or more per day. They all had very similar headlines and descriptions and almost identical tags. They also all looked very similar. The problem with such enthusiasm is:
No one is really interesting in viewing them!

One shot of your last vacation is interesting. 20 similar shots are boring!

Most people also feel annoyed by such spamming and might even cancel your friendship. Ouch!

I have set myself the rule to no upload more than 3 photos per day. And not 2 similar ones. So maybe one of a vacation, another one of a beautiful flower and the third one is a screenshot of a payment proof. That way, you have covered three different interest groups.
