One of the main reason for us as writer to do what we do which is writing is to earn money and the more view or traffic that we get normally equals the more money that we earn. So it is safe to say that every writer would like to gain more view to their articles, columns or whatever name that you have for them. But getting more views is not a simple task and this task is one that happens to get even harder when we have unrealistic expectations for the amount of view that we will get. So let’s just say you wrote an article or recipe on how to make your grandma’s homemade chicken noodle soup don’t expect this to achieve thousands of views each day, I am not saying that it can’t but the chances are that it won’t be gaining that many view each day.
This way when you write 20 article and you find that you have only gained about 60 views for the day, you would not feel disappointed. Another thing is to promote your work by using social networks such as Facebook and twitter. Also one of the best ways for you to gain more views to your work is by reading other peoples work and leaving a comment on each of their articles that you read. Many times the author or even other readers when they see your comment would come over to your profile and view some of your work as well. Now when you are doing this make sure you actually read the article and leaving a meaningful comment otherwise they would disregard it and some may even look at it as being spam. Hopefully with these few tips and some time you would be gaining more views in no time.

Comments
Nice article. :) People underestimate how much power leaving a few comments can have. I try to browse through newly updated articles. But, I definitely surf around exchanged comments a little more.
