Freelancing : Personality Traits That A Freelance Writer Must Have (Part 1)

I have read about many articles about freelancing and how to earn money online, but few tackles about the topic on the right attitude or personality traits  one must have.  There can be many skills needed and techniques on how to become a successful freelance writer, but as I go through the journey of writing for a year, I discovered that it is not an easy job.  There are ups and down period where you want to give up, but choose to be not.  Here are some personality traits that a freelance writer must have :

Be hardworking and persevere.  Every dream should be put into action and  freelance writing needs  a commitment from the writer.  To persevere is to write relentlessly on a regular basis, continuously looking for opportunities, and finding ways to improve knowledge, and skills.

Be patient.  We know that we cannot easily get things right way and becoming a successful in freelancing writing takes time and a lot of effort.  There can be many times that you need to be patient. 

• When your article is still under editorial, you need to be patient to be approved.  
• Be patient to the editor when your article was not approved, doing revisions, and submitting it again.
• Be patient to see your article gets a higher traffic and your earnings as well.
• With all the hardwork and perseverance, be patient when things go wrong as you have not expected it to be. 

The whole process of climbing the ladder of success is about patience.
