This is a poem describing how flowers and butterflies get along.  I was inspired to write this poem when one day when I was watering the plants, I saw some butterflies flying around the flowers.  It was a delightful sight.

They flap their wings so wide
And glide through air like kites
These butterflies are a pretty sight
They’re truly amazing and a delight

In pairs and multiples they hover around
They stop and rest where flowers abound
Then hop, and dance, and flutter about
In rhythmic patterns so rapid and sound

Each time I wake up in the beautiful morning
These butterflies greet me by flapping their wings
They brighten my days as I see them floating
In air as they fly they seem to be dancing

One day when I was tending my garden
To see and admire my beautiful flowers
Two colorful butterflies around me hovered
Drifting, gliding, and chasing one another

They love to smell the fragrance of roses
And play with petals of lovely tulips
At times they kiss the gorgeous irises
Flowers and butterflies are in mutual bliss

Certainly on earth there's a paradise
A haven meant for flowers and butterflies
Where you see great things that make you smile
It's a beautiful garden I can proudly say mine

Flowers and butterflies make lovely pairs
They get along well for they are friends
I wonder though if they can also be lovers
A perfect match that is made in heaven

Beautiful poem as always Tess.

I'm the butterfly and you're the flower! Beautiful!
