Florida Championship Wrestling 11/13/11

We open up with the rather eerie and ominous entrance of the Ascension to kick things off wide open this week.

The Ascension of Conor O’ Brian, Tito Colon, and Kenneth Cameron(w/Raquel Diaz) defeated Colin Cassady, Mike Dalton, and Jordan Jones.

Apologizes if I get the second team wrong, but there is no graphic. Yet it really didn’t matter, as the Ascension just utterly tears into their opponents with reckless abandon, finishing them off, with O’Brian scoring the pin. Another commanding performance from this team.

Coming up next, Damien Sandow defends the FCW 15 Championship against Seth Rollins in a return match from a couple of weeks ago.

Antonio Cesaro just punks Seth Rollins right as he enters for his return match! Cesaro puts the whipping on Rollins, beating and battering him. Rollins appears to have hurt his knee. But Sandow informs us that Rollins signed his rematch clause right now and if he doesn’t compete right now, he’ll forfeit right now and he’ll never receive another return match. Rollins hobbles to the ring, one leg, but he’s going to want his title shot.

Damien Sandow defends the FCW 15 Championship against Seth Rollins.

Most falls in fifteen minutes gets the win. Rollins gets his knee pounded, as wrestlers such as CJ Parker, Donny Marlow, Leakee, and Johnny Curtis surround the ring, to prevent Antonio Cesaro from making his return. Yet Rollins pulls out a sunset flip with 13:08 remaining to get a flash pin and the score is 1-0 in favor of Rollins. Rollins continues to fight hard but Sandow picks apart the leg, including a vicious figure four leglock around the post. Rollins fights a Half Boston Crab for a little bit but he has no choice and submit, to bring up the score 1-1 tie, with 3:33 remaining. Rollins is down and Sandow just chills in the corner, knowing that a draw means tie goes to the champion. That was a great move.

Rollins nearly pulls out a quick pin with two and a half minutes to go. Phoenix Splash attempt but the knee gives out and Rollins is hanging in the tree of woe by the knee as Sandow destroys him. Rollins is fighting with everything that he’s worth. Roll ups are traded and Sandow applies the Single Leg Boston Crab once again. Rollins rolls up Sandow in a small package and pins him just as the bell wins, to regain the FCW 15 Championship. He pins him exactly at the clock, but we appear to have some controversy as another referee is in the ring. But wait It appears Rollins scored the pin a fraction of the second after the fifteen time limit so he does not get the title, instead Damien Sandow keeps the title by virtue of a draw. To me it looked like he scored the pin right as the bell rang but it was really too close to call.

Antonio Cesaro is sick and tired of Americans and the fans chant “USA”. He’s sick and tired of Rollins and Dean Ambrose being called the saviors of FCW.

Aksana and Caylee Turner defeated Cameron Lynn and the FCW Diva’s Champion Audrey Marie

It was diva’s. What do you expect. Cameron Lynn was kept out of the ring most of the match which is likely a good thing. Aksana counters a monkey flip with a spinebuster for the pin on Audrey Marie.

Briley Pierce is here with Calvin Raines. Raines is not pleased with the fact that people thinks he’s off the radar and think that he’s a joke. He’s fought through the entire locker room…twice. He could care less however what anyone thinks of him. We’ll see who falls off the radar and who is a joke, with their average family and below average wives. Intriguing promo.

Leo Kruger retained the Florida Heavyweight Championship against Richie Steamboat and Husky Harris.

High impact action in this main event tonight on FCW. Leo Kruger had his back against the wall for a good portion of this match but he fought back, sending Steamboat to the floor, before applying the Sleeperhold on Husky to retain the Florida Championship. A solid main event encounter.

Richie Steamboat and Husky Harris are brawling after the match, as Kruger leaves with the belt and the win. They brawl as we fade to copyright.

So long from the Sunshine State.
