How many of us feel that we have been betrayed, offended or insulted by people who are really close to us, that our trust has been broken and we are the ones who suffer despite of being good. What feeling would you gather after going through such mental trauma? Feeling of taking “REVENGE”. Revenge is a natural feeling and it comes especially when you feel there is wrong that has happened to you. Let us analyze this feeling and find a solution to the question: How to overcome the feeling of revenge?

The only way to overcome evil is by doing good. As it is rightly said,” If evil is returned for evil, then evil is propagated and therefore it wins”. I know it is easier said than done. But have we ever thought from the perspective of the person doing injustice. What were the pertinent facts that made him/ her do so. Even if we know, we will ignore them or might think of alternative ways in which the person should have reacted just to prove that we are correct. The best solution to overcome our suppressed anger is to stay calm and distract our mind from the very thought of being wronged. Your limited life is not for any hatred and it is definitely not for such people. You are here to stay happy and keep others happy. For all the bad you have been through, trust God. Do not take matters in your hand. If you have ever experienced this, when it comes to trusting God or taking matters in your hand, the outcome of the earlier is always better. An angry man doesn’t think before choosing his action and the consequences are never good as what he just needs is an immediate solution to his anger. He might even feel guilty later if the revenge works since his conscience knows it all but its already too late then.

Take a case where your revenge works; will you be at peace then? Will you forget everything completely ? Will your anger subside forever? I doubt, then why become bad. If you feel a need for revenge, tell God about it. Leave it to Him to decide that person’s fate. Do not degrade yourself and never forget what you are taught.

Remember : “ What goes around, comes around.”

The quote can be read in two ways:

One: Leave the deeds of other human beings on God. Wrong will suffer.

Second: Never do such deeds that a feeling of revenge emerges within someone because in that case you will suffer.
