Sitting all the time writing articles can be very tiring and may lead to a serious disease. If you work for more than 6 hours a day, make sure you take short rests during your work. For example, when your back starts aching, you should stop writing and stand up to move around for about 1 or 2 minutes. What I do is simply walk to the nearest shop, which is about 200 meters from my house. This is a good exercise, I think. I may do it 2 or 3 times a day.
I do not have a fixed working place in the house. I often move around to avoid boredom. And I feel that I get more ideas what to write when I do not stay in one place. The back yard is my favorite place to write in. I’ve got a nice, small yard with a wall covered with small green leave of the tree that feeds on the wall. Just looking at the green leaves is enough to make me motivated. I usually stop writing before 10 a.m. as I have to cook for lunch. It usually takes about 1 and a half hour to cook and I am done at 11:30. I still have 30 minutes to continue writing before lunch time.
I don’t write articles in the evening. I think evening time is suitable and appropriate for my family. We usually gather around in the living room. It’s also interesting to watch my kids studying their lessons. We usually turn in before 10 pm. I wake up at 4 am and start writing again till 5 am. At 5:30, I usually go out to jog in the neighborhood. It’s really nice to go out this early. The air is fresh and it gives me a lot of spirit and motivated.
I guess writers should set aside enough time for exercise. I am sure that some of us even don’t have time to work out. Some probably burn the midnight oil to write articles. Watch out. Unknown diseases may catch you.
