Father-Daughter Relationship
Out of all the pure relationships that God created on the earth, one of them is a father-daughter relationship. The best gift a woman can give to a man is a child, and what else can be more perfect if the gift is a baby girl. Every man crave for such a beautiful feeling of fatherhood where he get to hold her little angel in his arms. His happiness is immense but he is not showy about it.
Though many people might not get happy when a girl is born but there is one person who sees his world in her little girl.
It is rightly said that girls are Daddy's darling daughters and I started to realize this fact at every stage of my life as I grew up.
Right from the day I took my first step holding his finger to the day I first spoke "Dadda" instead of "Mumma", I realize how close I have been to him since my childhood.
What makes me smile the most even today is when I think of how I used to sleep on his tummy till the age of two years.
I think I could not have a better sleep than that one.
As I grew up I never felt a declination in my friendly relation with my father. Even as an adoloscent my interactions with him never got over.
Like every daughter even I look upon my dad as my role model. His qualities influences me and I wish my kind of guy has all of these.
He has always wanted me to be an independent career-oriented girl and has guided me at every step of my life.
He is the one who always protect me from mom's scoldings when I dont get up on time and also when my mom insist me for house cleaning, cooking or helping her out in kitchen.
I have always been a pampered child and I enjoy it the most even today.
He has never let me feel the absense of anything in my life.
Even today when my mom is planning for my marriage after three-four years he discusses my plan about my further studies.
In every phase of life I have found him playing a different role from a guide, to a savior, to a friend and ultimately a care taker.
Today I cherish each and every moment of my past with my dad when I see them captured in the photographs. These are my prized possessions which make me relive my childhood.
People say that a girl needs her mother the most but I say my dad's role in my life was no less than my mom's.
Today whatever I am is because of their upbringing and I owe my thanks to them.

i envy you that you had your father for a long time.. my daughter was not able to grow up with a her father since he passed away so early... i like you article
Dogs have been companions to humans for thousands of years, often being referred to as man's best friend. Unfortunately, millions of dogs are abandoned at shelters and humane societies every year, according to America Humane. If you want a new pet, skip over expensive dog breeders or pet stores and adopt a dog from a humane society. Many popular dog breeds can be found at humane societies, and adoption is typically cheaper than buying a new dog.
It really made me smile that how same things happens with others.........
ya really shreya...dese memories are close to every daughter's heart...!!!
