Zynga gets Farmville Farmers new toys to play with. Now they have a collection section rather similar to the the ones in Mafia Wars on the Virtual Farm. Some things you collect from working around on your own farm. Other things are found as you help out in farms belonging to your friends. Others still can be gifted to and from friends.

Every time you add a collectible to your collection a small pop up shows you that it's come in.Here are what they are called and the things that you must collect!

The Gardening Tools

The things that you need to pick up are gloves, trovel, cultivator, twine, pruning saw and shears. Have managed to turn this collection in and was rewarded for it with fuel, coins and experience points.

Country Kitsch

Here you must chalk up the needlepoint, spigot, pocket watch, salt shaker, thimble, and a cow bell. Am still to get a cow bell, and wonder if I need to get them out of the dairy to collect the cow bell.

Bugs

Yup now your virtual farm has its own bugs! There is the ladybug, dragon fly, caterpillar, stick bug, beetle and a centipede. Not my fav collection as you can imagine, but hey its all part of the game.

Feathers

These include the green plume, hen feather, dapple plume, red feather, banded quill, and the blue feather. I missed out on being gifted the first set of feathers from my friends as the collections had just started and we were not too sure how they worked.

Butterfly

This would have to be my favorite one. It includes the Emperor, Painted Lady, Blue, Swallowtail,Zebra and Copper Butterflies. Am yet to get these going as most of them seem to involve friend's activities.

So that is the whole new set of collections.
