Facts of scenario of Indian contribution in world wheat production during 1995 to 2010

Summary:
According to FAO Statistics, 2010, Wheat production in World in 2010 was 81235926 Int $ and 650881002 mt and in India and Indian wheat production 12131465 Int $ and 80710000 MT. Peak wheat production was observed in 2009 in world and 2010 in India. The Indian contribution in world wheat production is almost sustained to be 1.27±0.11% and 1.04±0.09%, respectively.

Highest wheat production in terms of Production (Int $1000) was recorded in the year 2009 followed by 2008, 2010, 1997, 2004, 2005, 2007, 1998, 1999, 2006, 1996, 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003 whereas during the year 1995 it was lowest (FAO, 2010). As far as wheat production in India in this term is concerned, It was recorded highest in the year 2010, followed by 2009, 2008, 2000, 2007, 2002, 2004, 1999, 1997, 2006, 2005, 1998, 1995, 1996 and 2003, whereas during the year 2001 it was lowest (FAO, 2010).
During the tenure wheat production in terms of Production (Int $1000) touched highest value 85613843 from the lowest 66005110 in world and 12131465 from 228615 in world (FAO, 2010).
Highest wheat production in terms of Production (mt) was recorded in the year 2009 followed by 2008, 2010, 2004, 2005, 1997, 2007, 2006, 1998, 2001, 1999, 2000, 1996, 2002 and 2003, whereas during the year 1995 it was lowest (FAO, 2010). As far as wheat production in India in this term is concerned, It was recorded highest in the year2010, followed by 2009, 2008, 2000, 2007, 2002, 2004, 1999, 2006, 1997, 2005, 1998, 1995 and 1996, whereas during the year 2003 it was lowest (FAO, 2010).
During the tenure wheat production in terms of (mt) touched highest value of 686959162 from the lowest 542603801 in world and80710000 from1597000 in India (FAO, 2010).
