Facebook never stops to develop their features. After releasing Live Ticker, Timeline, and more than 60 applications, now Facebook creates Facebook Group Cover. What it is? If you have applied Timeline on your profile, you may be asked to upload a cover photo. This photo will be appeared on the heading of your timeline. Facebook Group Cover works as Timeline cover.

What makes it different is the default image. In Timeline, the default cover is blank, however, in group, the cover is the image of some profile pictures of the group members. Of course you can change it with any image you want. In short, Facebook really desires to decorate this social networking as beautiful as they can.

Unlike the confusing Timeline and Live Ticker, this new feature warmly appreciated and liked by Facebook users. First, this cover does not change the other feature and navigation of the group. Second, it makes the group more beautiful, cheerful, and unique. And the last, the admin of the group can work as creative as he can to update the cover.

As the photo may change periodically, the admin can also change it based on a particular moment or event. For instance, if the theme of the group today is Valentine, then admin will select some most romantic couple pictures to be the cover group. If the theme is about success, the admin may select a picture of the group member who recently has been successful in doing his favor. The size of the cover photo is 800 x 170 pixel or 28,22 x 6 cm. Sound interesting, huh?
