Eminem Turns 40: Eminem is 40 Years Old!

Rap superstar Marshall Mathers AKA Eminem turned 40 on October 17, 2012 to the surprise and joy of many fans all over the world. What surprised many about Eminem’s birthday is the fact that not too many fan knew of his actual age.

Many did not know that Eminem was that grown? I have been listening to Eminem’s song religiously for over a decade now and I have always thought of Eminem as a very young man. So it came to me as a surprise when I heard that he had turned 40. It seemed unbelievable. I have interviewed many Eminem fans both online and offline regarding the issue of Eminem turning 40.

In my interview I wanted to Eminem fans’ take on Eminem’s 40th birthday. Many of them said that they did not believe he was 40, for he seemed way too young for 40. Below are what some of Eminem fans said about their hero:

“I was totally surprised when I heard Eminem had turned 40” Nadia from Bulgaria said “Never would I have believed it if someone had told me that Eminem would be turning 40 soon.”

“Rappers don’t normally live long lives, so to live to 40 is a great achievement in the rap industry,” Tom Adams from Manchester said. Tom has been a hip-hop fan since he knew how to talk.

“Eminem looks and dresses like he is in his late 20s” Jade said “I find it hard to believe that he is 40. It is totally unbelievable.”

“Who would have ever thought that Eminem would one day turn 40?” asked another Eminem fan who gave his name as Shady1987

In my interview with Eminem fans from various parts of the world, I realized one interesting which was although many of the fans were addicted to Eminem and his music a large number of them never knew his actual age, which I found really interesting. Eminem is indeed growing but barely looks it.

At the age of 40, I wonder what is next for Eminem. Would he keep on releasing more amazing albums? Or would he retire from being a recording artist and just sit in the studio working full time as a producer?

Fans all over the world are wishing the best rapper alive a happy birthday. "Happy birthday Eminem!" they exclaim in a resounding voice.
