DVD Review of The Day (0173) - Body Heat - 1981

0173 – Body Heat – 1981 – Directed by Lawrence Kasdan and starring William Hurt, Kathleen T0173urner, Richard Crenna, Ted Danson, J.A. Preston and Mickey Rourke. The story starts with a sleazy lawyer (Hurt) having an affair with a sleazy housewife (Turner), who is the husband of sleazy businessman (Richard Crenna). The sleazy housewife wants to leave the sleazy businessman for the sleazy lawyer, but also wants to keep his money. Hurt contacts one of his sleazy acquaintances, very convincingly played by Mickey Rourke, who is an expert on incendiary devices. Preston and Danson play two sleazy cops investigating the murder. Danson is horribly miscast and couldn’t be a cop for Officer Joe Bolton’s clubhouse. I will not reveal the throbbing conclusion, but be rest assured that it is sleazy. Recommended.
