Dreaming of a Million Views Week One Update

The first week of my "dreaming of a million views" challenge is now done and complete, but exactly how well have things progressed and am I on track to reach my goal? Read on to find out.

For those who have not had the chance to read my original article detailing my challenge, I guess I better recap what I am aiming to achieve and in what time scale.

The crucks of this challenge is to achieve one million views by taking my collective views from Redgage, Wikinut, experts column and Triond over the next two years, along with the 39,252 views I had already achieved prior to the start of the challenge. It's a very tall challenge, but one that with a lot of hard work is definitely achievable

The first week of my "dreaming of a million views" challenge has been full of ups and downs, with experts column going down for eight hours, through to issues with my computers virus protection stopping my from getting on-line to post more articles, giving the downs.

However even though these two things have made the week a little testing, I have to say the support I have received from my fellow Triond and Experts Column writers has really spurred and given me real hope that the challenge really is achievable.

Anyway lets get down to the numbers and see exactly how successful this week has been in helping me towards my goal of a million views. This weeks views broken down site by site are as follows:-

Wikinut - this week I have achieved 157 new views, taking my Wikinut total to 11,140 views.

Triond - this week I have achieved 311 new views, taking my Triond total to 9,303 views.

Redgage - this week I have achieved 243 new views, taking my Redgage total to 7,053 views.

Experts Column - this week I have achieved 1,460 new views, taking my Experts Column total to 13,927 views.

This gives me a total of 2,171 new views for the week and gives me a grand total of 41,423 views to date. This leaves me with only another 958,577 views till I hit my goal one million views.

Granted not the best week I have had, but a decent start to the challenge.
