Don't Focus On Money

This is going to be one of those quick, to the point, columns which are inspired by a passing phrase or word. Right now when I was about to sign out of Expertscolumn or EC. My attention fell upon "...don't focus on money!"  One writer's advice to another on EC.

"...don't focus on money!"I didn't open the link to read the column or anything. Since, I am in a bit of a rush. It's nearing 4:30 pm here and I have to get dinner ready. Besides, it's the weekend. And I am going to make chicken and potato pie!

Anyway, since I don't have much time, I'll keep this short(long enough to make the minimum word requirement for EC!). I don't have to open the link to know that the person was advicing the other not to worry about his/her earnings online and so the "...don't focus on money!" bit that ensued.

And  it caught my attention, most certainly did. Because, I don't agree with it, not at all! Rather, I opine that if you want to make your mark as an online writer, you should FOCUS on money. When you do, you will automatically improve your writing and work harder to earn your living.

No need to get desperate(like I do sometimes!!), maintain a healthy balance. But, it is important that you always keep your aim in view. And continuously work  toward achieving your goal. And if I may add, chuck out all that useless advice on Don't Focus On Money,

If you want to make money writing  online, believe in yourself and do whatever you can to achieve your dream, is my best advice to you'll (and myself too). Thank you for turning in. Gotta go now and get the stove started.
