With sites like Facebook and Twitter, do we keep anything private anymore, or do we post it all online for the world to see? It seems to me that when it comes to social networking sites, especially Facebook, people share far too much information.

We used to be very private only sharing our darkest secrets with our best friends and possibly family. Now however we share, sometimes very sensitive information with all our ‘friends’ on Facebook.

It seems these days everyone announces they are pregnant via Facebook. There walls are constantly updated with scan pictures and status updates on how the pregnancy is going. Many its just me but being pregnant isn’t something I would broadcast all over the internet.

People even let the world know they are single, in a relationship, engaged or married. Its just there for everyone to see.

I’ve seen friends and family have arguments on Facebook. People are not only free to see two people fighting, they are also free to give their opinion on said fight. It would make me laugh other than the fact that its sad that people feel they have to put this sort of stuff online.

Even celebrities who usually scream for privacy take to Twitter to vent their feelings and bitch about their rivals, whether its business or personal. Is there a limit to what we won’t share?
