Cross Road

CROSS ROAD
Now we have come to the cross road. Which way to go? Quite a long time we have been on it whether to continue or to part? But as it is now, we need to decide whether to continue or not. To be or not is either now or never.
As the day began the reality of who you are came to mind and I thought perhaps it was a big mistake I made to have thought you were the one I have long waited for. However, your action on that fateful night showed that, it is either we make it now or forget about it. Could you please state your mind now or never?
When I saw you at first, I concluded that I have met with an angel. With time, that angelic quality that attracted you to me soon proved to be satanic in nature. That at first I thought to be candid, that I was dreaming. Was I really dreaming or day dreaming? That I could not say but all that was necessary to me was that I need to take a stand.
All the days spent together was with mixed feeling a feeling that never expressed joy but was always distortive and disheartening. Now I think enough is enough is either I live or die. To live is to be without you and to die is to stay with you. My choice is fixed.
The plea you made sometime past yielded no result as it dirked me the more soon after the reconciliation. What else did I need from you if not to part. Although to lovers parting is always a sweet sadness but lovers we pretended to be yet were worst of enemies. Why not let us part and forget it? As long as we continue I think issues of this nature will keep coming and no positive measure to abate it. For how long would one live in pretense and woe? Who do you complain to when the one who is supposed to hear you out is the one making you to have sleepless night? The only panacea to this problem is for us to part. This although you frown at but I think it is practically too late for you to realize this. It seems as one crying over spilled milk. All that we need to do is to manage our lives and pretend that nothing ever happened so as to live harmoniously and forget the past.
You say what about the promise of marriage made? Had you consider that, your action would have reflected on it. But for your hard heartedness I am of the opinion as mentioned earlier that the relationship has hit the rock as such the best that can happen now is for us to kiss it goodbye. Life without love is dead and as dead as log. The best thing for log is to burn or use it for fire. Is it not so? Don’t let’s deceive ourselves we are not compatible as such we cannot be. Period!
Of what use is the relationship that is provoking and dirking? Such could lead to death and once death is recorded whoever is left will live his/her life. Why not let us therefore forget that and live separately as to be able to tell this tale much later in the future. If my eye or other part of my body is deformed, you will certainly seek another and forget about me. Thank God that I am ok and you are alright now we can go our separate ways. Don’t you think so?
If one is alive and there is no wife or husband he can say thank God and live the life perfectly well. It is only bad when life is extinct from the individual. Those who eventually end up killing never planned to, do it but as a result of their annoyance hence the action. As in more than two occasions you have told me of such things. Before it happened to me it is better I cut it short.
Now I must thank you for all that you have done for me and how far we have gone. Although I had wished earlier that we spend our years together all through but your irrational and irate character could not permit that. On behalf of my siblings that you know and those who you longed to see and my friends I say a big thank you to you and wish you the best in your search for a better partner.
As for me I pray God as well to lead me to the one who He has prepared for me. I strongly belief that you are not mine, this you have told me severally but thought it was a play thing that event will sort itself out. To date your action does not contradict your thought, for it been validated is an indication that it is a planned work.
