A Constellation Poem

Stellar sun, come close but 
not too close to me. Afar, you
merely blink, like all stars.
Twinkle, twinkle!
 
You serenade my Mother
Earth, now unclothed and
naked---raped and molested!
 
And my atmosphere
you encircle, alternating with
the moon, your dwarfed
reflections.
 
Both your rays give life to all
fetuses of life that adorns the
spectacle of dust as dust we
call creation, portrayed as
womb to tomb.
 
Matter started crawling like a
vacuum filled with air by the
collision of stars, and light
came streaming through the
majesty of the heavens.
 
Oh, constellation of
stars!  The product of the
explosions dazzled the
nascent minds forming. 
 
And they forgot that, once
upon a time, God
was whole till the "Big Bang"
as they call it, divided "God"
the universe.
 
Little bits of stars, you and I,
spilled out into the heavens
but there was no mention
ever made of  the beginning
save the illusions that:
 
Gods had been up there
and we down below....
 
And the stone rolling centuries
upon centuries ever since
gathered moss like layers of
unforgotten molds.
 
Even till the Christ, the
Buddha, Muhammed,
Krishna appeared
who had been enlightened
and  walked in our midst,
on Earth to show the way....
 
Hear that can hear but don't
like to listen ---here now  a sad
dwelling place of diverse
religions like voices in the
Tower of Babel ---
 
To each his own in the
interpretation not of peace
but of war; prayers of
discordant notes of thunder
across the  star-laden
firmament and close
kinship with the God-head
divine and holy universe.
