Actually, plenty of jobs available here in the Philippines, and mostly are found within the City Limits. Although, most of them are below in minimum wages (salary) that if you calculate your total earnings, it can support only yourself, and cannot support a whole family (a wife with 3 kids for example) and mostly a contract working type of job too, which means, you are forced to renew your application after five months (as the working job company did this in order for the workers – just to avoid a permanent type of worker, to avoid worker benefit rights).
I sometimes notice that even an Over-Qualified Educational Level of an applicant to some job opportunities is also hard to accept to hire, as they prefer a middle level of education. Maybe those professional college workers are always argue with their boss, always argue with his/her salary receive, inconsistency that happens on his/her job, or even just working by words of mouth only and not by doing it thoroughly.
As I said, plenty of vacant jobs, but many applied it but few are chosen to hire because the type of job that are available is for the applicant cannot understand or the applicant are not an intellectual type of…. Instead of bringing that company to rise against competent company, due to applicant’s lack of education, he/she will only bring the company futureless.

Street Smart is the best to compare to an Education type of person as what I heard from many, because of the current situation nowadays, comparing them, those low level type of education are all working abroad and receiving high paying salaries such as Seaman, Overseas Contract Workers, Nurses, Domestic Helpers, Masonry… that when they going back home here in the Philippines, their income (1 US Dollar is currently exchanged as 42 Philippine Pesos) see how money they have bring here converted to Philippine currency? Comparing to those very bright brainy professional people? Not all, but mostly.
