I've just gotten a membership to Club Body, an online fitness plan that's run by Elijah Maine, a personal trainer and amateur bodybuilder. I decided to review this program because I believe that it may become a popular fitness service on the Internet.
What is Club Body?
This is a video based fitness program with two levels of workout plans:
1. Club Body Beginner - This is a 6 week workout plan in which you train every other day. The purpose of the beginner plan is twofold:
- Get your body accustomed to working out properly.
- Help you to burn off body fat fast with the right weight training routines.
The way the program is arranged is that you have a special workout section for each day on the plan. You see which exercises you need to do and there's a High Definition video in which Elijah Maine shows you how to perform the exercise with perfect form. The exercise videos (and there are over 130 in total) are of the best quality I've yet to see in any online fitness plan.
You just need to have the will and determination to follow the workouts. This is something I find easy because there is great variety in the workouts so you won't get bored with anything.
2. Club Body Advanced - If you're already used to working out you can begin using the advanced program immediately. This is a 12 week program and it's the heart of Club Body. It's during the advanced program that you will lose the most body fat and get really in shape.
The workouts here are detailed day by day and include a strength training session followed by a cardio session. Each of the workouts is 45-60 minutes long. What's incredible is that none of the workouts repeat themselves so you have a wide range of variety in your workouts.
Each of the exercises in the advanced program is also shown in a short video. You can watch all the videos online or download them to your computer, iPod or iPhone to take them with you to the gym.
The program is a bit lacking in the nutritional aspect as it's mostly focused on fitness, but I've received a message from one of the Club Body staff that this soon they will have a lot more nutritional data. As you get updates of the program you will be able to get these additions.
Club Body is an extensive and well constructed fat burning plan that's right for men and women both. I believe that you will find it very useful and get excellent results with it whether you're trying to get a six pack or lose some lower body fat, or get fitter.
