I want to be an online writer and by this I don't mean just publish-writer, which I already am(and so is everyone else who has at least one publication online!). I have more than 300 publications from Triond, Expertscolumn, my blogs on blogger, Knoji(published a couple of articles there and then gave up!), and Red-Gage(rarely visit the site nowadays),
I Joined Expertscolumn in January 2012, a few days after I had signed on to Triond(an online writing site where you can earn by publishing your poems, articles, pictures, videos, music, etc. The earnings is not great but you can make a small amount of money!).
The sole purpose for joining Expertscolumn was for me to re-publish and earn more. And I am earning more...only it's a pittance still!
According to me, I will consider myself an online writer or professional blogger only when I can earn a substancial income from my online writing. Currently, I am far behind my goal. And sitting here, typing away articles...submitting piece after piece is still enjoyable. But the returns can be de-moralizing.
I don't want to complain, I just wish there was a path to follow...a guaranteed route to take toward achieving my goal! I know it is possible to earn a living from online writing..it's frustrating when after having spent more that six months I still don't know how?
Which leaves me wondering will I always be Chasing dreams on Expertscolumn? It's a great site to join...And the increasing problems on Triond have made it even more appealing to me and to several others too! However, just because you can double your income on Expertscolumn doesn't mean you can make a living here...in this regard it continues to be very much like Chasing dreams on Expertscolumn.

I think it just takes a lot of time and patience to make money online. It's just a waiting game on when something better will come along.
Forget about the earnings. Keep on writing and just take it as an enjoyment.
some people need 1 month to earn 3 to 4 figure online income and other took 3 to 4 years. well, earning from writing thus takes lots of hardwork and hard time.reader want more just an information this date, they need more like infotainment.
