Can War be justified?

Who would be so selfish and so cruel to justify war. I believe there are no justifications to for war. If murder cannot be justified, if theft cannot be justified and so many other crimes then why should War be justified?

War cannot be justified. We talk about human rights and the law. A lot of rules are broken in war and no human right is cared for. All the superpowers do is to make up excuses trying to justify war. There are no rules in war and no law is obeyed. It is human nature to fight but we should atleast admit our mistakes instead of justifying them. There is no justification for taking a human life. As technology improves day by day so do the weapons. We find better and better ways of killing each other. War is a terrible thing, it destroys our country, our social life, our country's economy but the most terrible thing about war is that a lot people die. At the end of the day nothing is gained or achieved.

The after effects of war are devastating. The damage caused is hard to repair and in some cases irreparable. Lots of buildings and houses are destroyed. Farms are destroyed. War is ruthless, it doesn't differentiate between innocent or the guilty, friend or foe, it just destroys everything. Families are torn apart, seeds of hatred are sown and one day they would sprout. They will be filled with hatred and they would turn toward violence and crime to quench their thirst for revenge. Hate shouldn't be fought with hate. If you hate someone then it is natural that he will also hate you therefore hate will continue to replicate itself. There is a saying that: "An eye for an ends up making the whole world blind." When we are angry we lose sense of what we are doing and are "blind". Instead of trying to get revenge we should try to negotiate. War should only be in self defense, it should be a last resort but even then war is not justified.

Another factor in war is the money involved. It costs a lot of money to buy weapons and to fight a war. The country is left in a worse state then it already is. In most cases the conflict which the war had been fought over is also not resolved. Superpowers of the world world justify war and tell us that war is fought in self defense. There can peace if we all decided to get rid of our weapons. None of the countries would want to do that because if all of the weapon factories decided to shut down or if weapons got banned then the economy of a country could be damaged. U.S is famous for its trade in weaponry. It is one of the biggest exporter of weapons. If there were no wars and countries stopped buying weapons then you can probably imagine what will happens to a large part of its economy.

In the end it comes down to only one thing: human nature. Human nature is one of the most stubborn thing on this planet. If only we could learn to admit our mistakes and apologize or just to be able to forgive, then wars could be avoided. It is our nature to be aggressive and try to find solutions to problems by force. Humans are to be blamed for war. We keep making the same mistakes over and over again, the only hope left is that one day we might learn that war gives us nothing. Fighting is not a solution. "Two wrongs don't make a right" Finally to those who want to provoke a World War III, you don't understand how terrible war is and you probably are too cruel and stone hearted to understand anyway but please stop. The people who provoke war hide behind the curtains while innocent civilians die.
