Bruce Willis in Budapest

Again a Hollywood star in Budapest. After Angelina Jolie and Bred Pitt, Robert de Niro, Jeremy Irons, Hugh Jackman and Keanu Reeves the next high profile celebrity that is coming to Budapest is Bruce Willis. He will arrive soon to Hungary according to the news.

I guess Die Hard was the movie that made Bruce Willis world famous. Now they will capture the 5th Die Hard movie in our capital. The story is not related to Budapest, they will re-design the scenes to Moscow. It seems Budapest is attractive enough to be turned into Rome, Paris, Berlin or Moscow if it is nessecary.

Budapest has 1000 faces that's for sure. On the other hand finally they have created a competitive legislation for film-makers and as a result the Hungarian capital is pulling the superproductions to itself as a magnet. Before Prague was the top priority nowadays it seems Prague and Budapest are in a strict competition.

It is obvious to all the Budapesters that the die Hard is a huge production. Our entire downtown is disabled. At times complete streets and important crossings are totally blocked. New York and especially Los Angeles must be used to this, but for us this is something new. And I do not mind. Better then riots:)
