Both Katie And Suri Are Free From Tom And Scientology

Most of the world will breathe a sigh of relief at the news. The fight between the two power couples was much shorter than expected and I for one I’m glad. Things could have gotten really messy but the biggest part of the storm seems to have passed.

Katie Holmes has full custody of the couple’s six year old daughter Suri. Katie has put a clause in the divorce settlement stating that Suri will be banned from attending the church of Scientology and any of their parties.

Katie is thought to have two main reason for wanting to divorce Tom. The first reason being that she wanted to escape Tom’s controlling nature. According to reports Tom controlled every part of Katie’s life, from what she wore to who she was allowed to hang out with. Katie does have full custody of her daughter and Tom will be allowed to see her, but with some conditions.

The second reason being wanting to keep her daughter away from the church of scientology. Suri has reached the age where she would be sent of to a strict scientology school, and Katie, who was raised a catholic did not want that for her daughter.

Katie is now planning a movie about a single mother raising her child alone. Should be interesting to watch.
