Why do people blog? I think they blog mainly for two reasons. One is for fun and the other is for making money. There is a strict competition in blogging and it is not easy to make money blogging these days. When there is a rigid competition, it is natural to get low paying ads on your blogs. Other things like drastic increase in usage of social sites also have an impact on blogging. Is blogging slowly losing its charm? Please continue reading....

Low blogging income: It's true that we get low paying Google ads on our blogs most times. It is due to the strict competition in blogging. If there are millions of active bloggers, the ads value will naturally decline. So, bloggers get only pennies for their hard work. They earn less from Google ad sense program. Will this affect blogging?

Impact of social sites: Facebook and Twitter are the two giant sites that consume the major time of many Internet users. People spend many hours on these two sites daily. They do a lot of activities on FaceBook. So, both FaceBook and Twitter have a great impact on blogging. People may blog less and spend more time on these social sites.

Is blogging losing its charm?: I think blogging will never lose its charm. It will always have its craze for ever. Every day thousands of new bloggers enter into blogging world. So even though, bloggers get only low paying ads on their web pages, most of them will continue to blog hoping to make decent money blogging.

Will the ads value increase in future?: If the strict competition continues, there is no scope for getting high value ads on our web blogs. If bloggers concentrate more on other programs like affiliate programs, writing reviews and so on, may be ads value would increase. If blogging activity decreases, then at one stage the ads value might increase (simple supply and demand economic theory). Eventually the bloggers can increase their Google ad sense earnings. But there is only a little hope for it.

Conclusion: Blogging has become a part of life for many Internet users these days. Of course low paying ads and the increase in the usage of top social sites like FaceBook and twitter will have an impact on blogging. But blogging will not lose its charm. Blogging will continue its dominance in the web world. Thanks for reading.
