I am a child, little child
The blanket warms me
Protects my head
The dark blue velvet
I chew its corners
My favorite one
When nightmares scare me
It is with me
But my legs grow
And the blanket is short now

I have come out of the warm blanket
Now I read books
The indexes suck
History, maths, science
All day is wasted
Tired of exams!!!
I can’t take long notes
My friend comes to my house
With those books
And we study

Friends asked me to enjoy
I am in love, in debt, in drink
Dance, drink, dance
That bottle with beer
The bottle is here
We study, we drink
We drink, we study
A day comes when both charms end
And my love leaves me then.
I am empty again,
With those empty bottles
But I work
I earn money
Bank balances, cars, apartments
I want all

As I wrinkles grow
Thoughts are different
I worked a lot
Now want to rest
Again back to the books
Now subjects are more spiritual
These books teach me
The real lessons of life

But with more work
My health is fading
I went to find a blanket
It’s rough
Corners not there
Beauty and charm, left
Ragged
Colors are faded
As I am!!!
