Birejji, a very popular get paid to chat or social website has met with a recent loss of its members. Over night in Jul 11, due to the loss of Google Adsense as its advertiser, pot (a common pool of money that determines how much each line of chat worth) reduced drastically after it has been switched to AdBrite.
The problem with AdBrite is that whenever you place the HTML code into your site, advertisement do not appear immediately. The client of AdBrite needs to approve their advertisement for it be placed in a particular site.
Well, many has been calling Birejji a scam after earnings and villages were wiped out overnight. Due to the fact that Adsense had disabled the page, earnings will ceased. However, based on my personal experience, a site being disabled does not warrant the disappearance of your earnings there. When one of my many blogs were disabled due to image issue, the money that I have earned from the blog were still paid to me. However, we are unable to compare apple to apple here as we do not know whether was it a suspension of account or just merely a disabling of ads to be service on the site. That is why is may not be fair for members to call this site a scam.
There are some members who are not too concerned with their accumulated earning being reset to zero. There are some village (Chat channel) owners who were utterly disappointed with the admin's decision to delete a vast majority of the villages and only kept 6 which he thinks are essential for the growth of the website.
If until this point, you do not understand what I am talking about, I suggest you read up "What happened to Birejji?" to get a full overview of what had happened in detail.
Birejji has been making its payment to member who requested them instantly and this is probably the only site that pays instantly. This is a very attractive feature which I think would attribute to its recovery in time to come.
In conclusion, the reset to zero was deemed to be a necessary decision by the admin and it is only a "One off incident", and that does not make Birejji a scam.
