It has been a week or so since Birejji has disabled the member's ability to create village. However, on 22 July 2011 at 7.33 am (GMT +8), the administrator of Birejji has announced "Village Creation" is now open!
This means that members are able to create their own village to form chatting communities again. The owner of the village will stand to earn a 5% income made from it. Based on my person experience as the owner of the Village - ChineseNetizens, a popular village then and previously with Adsense being the advertiser could earned up to 20 cents per day (5%). I am not sure about now, but we are all excited about how it will turn out.
After the news was released, many villages that were previously deleted suddenly returned to live. It was something that came out on a least expected note as Birejji is still trying to recover it status as a popular paid to chat website.
Based on my personal opinion, this move not only will get back its old members, it will also be an idea to boost its 'pot' (collective earning rate that members would earn from one line). Because the more traffic this site brings, the more advertisers will be willing to run their banners in this chat site.
The owner of Birejji had issued a statement in its Facebook Birejji Fan Page that all the accumulated earning in Google Adsense account were not paid to the admin and hence the need to reset all unpaid accumulated payments of members prior to the incident. I believe that it is true and this is something the Internet Advertising Powerhouse, Google is capable of. The appeal to Google has been rejected as usual as they have zero tolerance for infringement of their policy.
Moving forward, I believe in Birejji because this site has a niche of promoting community chatting and by reverting the ability to create village will indeed speed up its recovery from the Google Adsense incident (What happened to Brejji?).
Birejji is definitely not a scam.
