Being poor is not one's destiny. It is his or her choice. I mean he or she can change it. I know destiny is believed to be unchangeable. What if you become seriously ill? Is that your destiny? Many have been poor all their lives because they think their being poor is their destiny. They also believe that God has made them poor. Because of this belief, they never want to change it.
I think everyone knows this: “Man proposes, God disposes,” In Muslims’ holy book, God clearly states that He will not change your fate unless you try to change it. Your efforts will work for you.
The secret of rich people is that they started from their failures. The failures are lessons for them to change to a better condition. They hate people saying that failure is one’s destiny. If you think it is, then you will never want to try to improve yourself. Your mistakes are your next lessons. You should learn from them. Many people who failed stayed away from the mistakes they made. These people will be destined to remain unchangeable.
God has created men to be sufficient in everything because He has provided with all that we see in this world. To get what you want, it needs your efforts and your perseverance. Never give up. Never blame yourself for being poor, being unlucky and things like that. Stay away from this negative thought.
Besides efforts that you put in it, there is another you should do—be an almsgiver. Share a little of what you have to those in need of help. This is very powerful in stopping or preventing from your being unlucky. Chinese people believe that giving alms will make them stay away from misfortune. Another successful person who loves almsgiving is Bill Gate.
