Beagle Dog Great Dog

A Beagle is a very great hound dog. A beagle eyes are normally brown or hazel. A beagle can come in many different colors for their coats. Beagles are normally sweet dog that is a also a loving dog. They are happy to see you and almost everyone else too. They are very smart dogs. They are normally great with children and are usually good with other dogs too. If you have them around other animals though you will have to get them used to the animal then they should  be fine.

They do require training and can sometimes be a little hard to train it can be done though. You have got to be very patient with them. It is very important that they get the exercise that they need everyday. It you give them the right exercise then they will be a calmer dog. They usually howl much more than they bark.

The male beagle will be 13 to 18 inches and weigh 20-36 pounds these are the normal height and weight but can vary also. The female beagle will be 12 to 15 inches high and weigh 20-30 pounds. Sometimes beagles can have certain health problems for this breed such as: heart disease, epilepsy and back problems.

The average life expectancy of a beage is 11-15 years old. The will usually have anywhere from 3-13 puppies with the average of about 7. A beagle has short hair and is easy to groom. Shedding with this breed is average. A beagle is a great and wonderful dog for you.
