Baby Cravings

When you get the feeing you want a baby….

Most Women will get the feelings at some point in their lives, although some never have the desire at all. I however are beginning to have those feelings……. I want a baby.

I am 22 years old with a well paid job, but before I go rushing to get my boyfriend to put I baby in my womb, there are a few things I need to consider.

(Will I be able to cope) – most expecting mothers will wonder this but I have a little extra concern, I am in a wheelchair. I am perfectly capable of looking after myself and have taken take of my god brother since he was 1 and half. Changing nappies, cooking food, getting him washed and dressed – all not a problem. But I have yet to have any experience with a new born baby and they require more care than a toddler.

(Will me and my partner always be together) – I need to think about whether the relationship is stable enough to bring a child into it, and most of the time I think it is, but sometimes I have my doubts. I will be very careful when it comes to this point, after all do I really want to be a single mother.

(Money!) I think this is the most important factor for anyone. Can I afford I child? The is the point I am least worried about as I am very good at saving. However I need to work out how much time I can afford to take off work? Not to mention the child care fees.

I have a lot of friends who are bringing their children up on benefits and I don’t want to do that, its just not worth it in the end.
