Archer angel chapter 4 part 1

Three months not so sweet
It was April the time of new spring and fresh life. Jack and I would spend almost every minute together during that time. The first place Jack took me was to the lake, he could tell the park made me sad. I would start talking about Airun the moment we would go there and I would start crying. It drove Jack crazy seeing those tears. It seemed he could not stand that hurtful face or deep stricken teal blue eyes full of water works.
“Jack why…. Do people go” I asked placing my head on his shoulder and clinging to him. “There are lots of reasons Noodle, why people leave” he began to explain to me. His words held much wisdom to me. I did not ever question what he said but I did ask many other questions. “Do not call me Noodle” I said raising my voice at him and I hide the fact I enjoyed his rather odd nick names he would give me but my favorite one was pure one. “Why not Noodle” he said smiling at me he then took out a box when we were at the lake. “Jack…. What is this” I asked him looking at the box and was very shocked to why my best friend would have something like that. “Do not worry it is linked to your question” he said to me in reply. “It’s a box….” was my response as I put one eye brow up and sat down on one of the rocks near the dark blue lake that ruptured at my bare feet. “I did care for someone very deeply once” he said to me. “Yes but what does a box have to do with that” I said starting to have a fit with him and clinched my fist and turned away.
“It… belonged to her” he said holding the box close to his heart. “Belonged to????” I asked with a curious look as my voice became softer. “Yes…. before she disappeared, I got there too late” he said to me. “Jack…. I am so sorry” I answered feeling sad that he had lost someone he loved. “Tessa…. I want you to have what is in this box.” He said to me. “No…. I cannot accepted that it belonged to the women you loved” I said stunned. “Jack…. did she die?” I asked being a little nosy. “Something like that, but I am sure, she would not mind you having it” he answered back. “No, I cannot” I said to him as a reply. “Tessa, what if I told you what was in this box belonged to you and not that woman” he said back to me. “Stop kidding around it could not be mine you just said it belonged to that woman you once loved” I said crossing my arms. “Just open it….” He said. “There is nothing in there” I said as I opened the red lavender box that looked like a small box a piece of jewelry would have been held into. “That is because it is in my hand” he said with a chuckle. “Jack…. Koronavel” was all I could say as my eyes looked at a gold locket that was in his hand on it had my name craved in it was like the one my mother had who had passed away and, was a gift to me at one point. “How…. Did you know about this, how did you find it…. I thought I lost that at the crash” I said as my eyes widen. “That is because I have known you longer then you know” he replied to me. “Did…. Nixon tell you about the crash” I asked wanting to know how he knew. “No” he replied. My eyes locked at his shoulders and chills went down my spine, still I was drawn to this tempting unknown knowledge he had. “Then how…., and how could that girl have the same locket, your pulling my leg” I said back at him in a snapping tone but first my voice trembled. “That depends what you believe Tessa” he said. “No you’re lying someone told you, who told you” I said. “How about I show…. you” he answered back and placed one hand on my shoulder. “Don’t you dare kiss me” I said pulling away and glaring at him. “You want to know do you not” he said to me pulling closer to me. “Jack…. No I do not, ” my heart hurt as Jack teasingly threatened to kiss me. This I could not began to grasp, I mean he was a dear friend more than a brother so why did the idea of him being close to me sting like a bee. “Fine, then I will not tell you” he said starting to walk and run off like he would when he could not get his way. “Wait, I want to know about that women who was she and, how did she come to have my locket.” I said as I pulled on his arm that was covered by his black leather jacket.
Jack sighed before he began to speak “The locket is just a traditional gold locket. It is just by chance, that your mother chose to give you one just like the one the woman I knew had one like it. The thing is, I promised I would one day return it to her and if she loved me, still she would let me keep it” he said in reply. “I see, I am sorry about getting mad at you before” I said. “Tessa…. It is alright.” was Jack’s answer as he placed his arms around me. “Jack I know it is not my place, but will you, tell me about her some day or sometime.” was what my lips spoke to him. “Little one I will tell you tomorrow if you wish to know.” he said kissing the top of my head. I looked away confused by his actions. For some reason the fact of this other woman made the very wall he keep breaking, try to build itself back up but like a mouse he always found the hole to which to hold me and cause me to be near to his very heart.
That night I went home but Brother Nixon was out so I went to bed on my own. I decided tomorrow I would go see a dear friend who was like a little brother to me. The thing is the meeting with him would have to wait till the bright yellow, orange, purple set brought the sun. I picked up my cell phone that was a Samsung flip phone and on the top it had blue and white flowers on the right corner of it. I clicked on his number as I went to the letter N. “Hello is Nori Noriko there” was what I said. “Yes this is me what is up sis?” he asked with much bliss in his tone of voice. “It’s nothing, I was just wondering if you might want to, go for ice cream tomorrow, if not I guess I can go bother Sensei” was what I spoke to him. “No, problem, just one thing sis, I would not trust Jack or Nixon” he said as his voice suddenly turned to a very alerting tone. “Jack, maybe…. But Nixon….” was my reply as I was in deep shock to the idea. “Look sis, just know this an item called 01, and 02, are very dangerous” Nori said. “O, I get it Jack and Nixon are going to be some characters in a game” was my answer with a laugh. “No…. something worse…. It would be best if you got out of town as soon as possible” his voice turned to a worry voice. “Look Nixon is not your real brother, in fact he is not even human, he and Jack were sent to protect you from 01. For 01 one is a great danger to you…. Miss Serenity of the heavens…. You must go before it is too late” his tone held even deeper concern then before. “Did Jack put you up to this….” was my reply has my eyes widen and I almost hit the hang up button on my phone with its red color so clearly in the reach of my figure tips.
I went in my white silk night gown outside because I could not stand to be in my room any longer. My bird followed from behind me and when I went outside I saw a trail of blood. Within the trees where dark red eyes I dropped my phone and I heard Nori shout out my name once as if he knew what I had seen and was not even there. “Link go back inside” I shouted as I walked toward whatever was in the dark. The dark figure shot out a vector toward my bird and I saw Link fall to the ground. “Link…………” my body froze and trembled and another figure seemed to be fighting this one off. One of them was a female the other a male. I felt my body pass out at the site of all of the blood. I could hear the man yelling at the women as my vision grew blurry. “Jack………..” I said as I saw five figures in all and one I could make out.
When I had awakened I was in the forest there was a man there his eyes showed grief. I was not afraid of him as I stood up and walked to him calmly. “Hello are you alright” I said with a kind simple smile. I reached my hand out to him. “No I am not” he said as he almost hit my hand away but he stopped as he stared at me for awhile. “I am Tessa, what’s your name?” I asked him keeping my smile. “I am Masaru Makoto, your bird is fine I bandaged his wings but you should likely find a new home for him things are going to become very much out of the norm” he said to me as he gazed at me and smirked he gave me my bird. “You look a lot like, her, so then the time draws near I look forward to it but never mind me Tessa, I will be seeing you some other time, and tell Nori I said hi. One more thing you wanted to know what was wrong; well you see I was forced to kill one of my own. You see she went berserk. In the process two others were killed but it matters not. It matters not I will never love anyone like I did her” His smile turned into a wicked look.
I started to walk back and hit a tree “Your wrong, when love dies it will come again a person just has to be hopeful, and life is a rare treasure” my eyes said with utter sadness but my voice was full of determination in what I believed. “Masaru do not, dare touch her” Jack said in his hand was a normal sword. Jack got in front of me and I could not see the battle but I heard the sword snap in two and Jack pulled me close to him. I looked shocked as he pressed his lips upon mine. A pair of pitch black demonic wings came out from his back. Then I saw his wings slowly change shape and change color to white, the light was utterly angelic. Then as I closed my eyes very tightly a pair of white wings came out from my back as I tenderly and lovingly embraced his kiss.
When I opened my eyes I saw a blue lake it was one I had seen in my dreams before only this time it was real. I could see the white petals fall onto the lake. “This can’t be…..” was all I could say. I quickly waved my head and turned to face Jack. “You’re a….” I held my tongue as I did not know if I should be irritated by what he had done or, if I should be happy. “I…. know this place…..” I said as my expression was that of a stunned small lamb. “O really how so” Jack said with curiosity and an ear ready to here. “Never mind what about that man you were facing where did he go?” I asked feeling lost and unsure of what my eyes had seen. “Consider this place, an area of safety, he is still where we left him but this location is one frozen in time like a sanctuary per say.” Jack explained very heavily.
“Yes, but how do you know…. Of him and what about my bird” I asked as I speculated that Jack had to know him if he knew the man’s name. “Consider Masaru my rival, and that is all you really need to know.” He said as he lifted my chin but I harshly pulled away. “In any case, I am going to keep you safe at all cost, Tess” he said with a smile that showed he had gotten what he had wanted. “No wait a sec I can protect myself I do not need your help” I said walking off. “You do not even know how to get out of here do you Noodle.” He said as he just stood there and watched me with his wings out. I refused to look back and then I walked in so many circles and keep ending up at where I started. “Given up yet Noodle?” Jack asked me by this time he was in a one of the trees. “Stop following me I am not going to be some silly damsel and I will figure it out on my own.” I said out loud.”Gosh he can be such a weirdo but I guess he has a point, and why can’t I stop thinking about that kiss,” I said placing my hand upon my face for a brief moment. “Then you agree with me, but a weirdo, now that is a little cold but I could always kiss you again if it might cool you off” he said to me as he let one arm stay on the tree and the other be free it was almost as if his body made the letter Y. “No…. way… how… did he know… did, I did I talk out load.” I thought to myself and my eyes were stunned. “You, did not speak out lamb” she said with a smirk as he jumped down to the pool the water making it ever perfect circles. I blushed then looked away as he stepped closer I could see his black pants soaked in the water. I did not understand how he could keep smiling at me, how me trying to push him away seemed to edge him on. I then quickly decide to calm down for I could not lie his eyes were like a warm welcome. It is true his eyes were not that bright green that Airun had but how would I get home without this sword master of a man.
“Jack….. Koronavel, I do not know how to use these, fine I will let you get me home under one condition you teach me how to fly with these and also….. how do I put them away. My reactions where very random and it confused me badly and terrified me. “You are so cute when you show your softer side, it’s a deal but first part end my forceful ness” he said with a loving smile and then he took a serious tone. “What might that be, and wait a sec I am so, not cute?” I said crossing my arms wondering what the catch twenty-two was. “Look…. I sort of” he said. “Sort..” was what I was about to say till he kissed me again and my face turned red and I immediately wanted to get mad but before I could react the wings on my back were gone and in his hands was another sword. “That…. sword….and this necklace on my neck…. Déjà vu” was all I could think as I stared at the sword. “How did you do that?” I asked curious. “There is not enough time to explain, we have to get back but you best stay close to me understand me Tessa.” He said as somehow we ended up back where we where before all of this. “How, is time frozen?” I asked looking at how everything was stop. “It will only be for a few moments for only the two most powerful magic users could do such a thing but one was taken to from this world and it’s my entire fault I should have been there.”Jack told me as he grasped the sword ever tighter into his hands. “This sword is a part of what is left of us, but it is not yet of its full power.” He explained to me. “Us?, but I am no strong magic user” I said. “You will understand soon enough, Tessa, my sweet Serenity” he said as he pushed me back and the time continued. “Masaru, fight me if you want the girl but you will have to make this body dead before it will hand over even a breath of her life.” Jack said as he tightened his hand upon the sword. “Do not worry, I do not intend to take her just yet, for her powers have only begun to awaken, and thank you Jack Koronavel for letting it start for me.” Masaru left with those simple words and Jack took me home that night.
When I got to my home there stood my brother he seemed to have know what happen. “Jack you do know that it has started others will surly come after such as the guardians for they will fear her full awaken.” my brother utter to Jack. “I am well aware of that” Jack said with a glare. “What were you thinking it would have been better just to let Masaru, kill her” Nixon spoke as if there was hatred in his voice. “Big brother… you want me dead, so it is true you’re not my brother, my brother would want me to live he would understand my life mattered.” I said stepping in between them and raising my hand up to my heart and then out as my tone raised. My eyes could not help but want to be filled with tears was I such a bother to him.
I started to run off but Jack grasped me by the shoulder. “Let me go, I want to find Airun” I said feeling the man I meet in the park was the only one I could trust and who did not see me as whatever this so called person called Serenity was. “He cannot do that, you will only be allowed to speak to those I approve of besides you do not even know where that boy went let alone he will come back.” Nixon said his blue eyes having a stricken look at my teal colored eyes. “You lied to me for sixteen years and you want me listen to you” I said very upset with both of them. “Tess, Tessa, I… am sorry” was all Jack could say to me. “No your just as bad, I called you Sensei, I called you my dearest friend, and I might even have feelings for you but you keep things from me, and in the end if you care for me at all, it is because of that person Serenity” I said bursting out in tears. Jack and Nixon both had looks of sorrow as if my harsh words had stricken both them with small needles. Jack let me go and I ran off to my room each step I took up made me feel very lonely inside.
The first month I basically stayed in my room and got little sleep for the nightmares cut me deeply. Then there was also the fact 00 who was Clara Masters was killed. Nixon and Jack would both not tell me this fact. It was my friend I called little brother who would tell me of this and slowly tell me more about the others. I keep the fact I knew more about it to myself. Still this women Serenity was still a mystery to me but a part of me felt I had to know more about who I once was. There is one little detail that shocked me and that was the relationship I had to Clara Masters. It would turn out Lady Serenity and Masaru’s mother, well her at least the body was for the soul had left many centuries ago, upon its death. A mad scientist would be the one to control the legendary powerful beings. The thing is he was hired by the dark lord. This would lead me to one of my first battles. Jack was going to allow me to fight by his side however he told me no matter what there is one power I must not use. It was called the shard whip. He believed my human body would die if I used it. Now would I listen that is another thing all together?
In any case I saw Jack the next month in May he came up to me as I was hitting a volley ball up in the air to practice serving. He jumped in front of me and grabbed the ball quicker than the wind. The quickness caused my blonde hair which was in a pony tail wave. I had on a pair of short shorts which where dark red and a red hair band in my hair. He then dropped the ball and griped my hand and pulled me toward him. “Jack….,” was all I could say for despite the fact I was upset with the both of them I missed him and Nixon a lot. “So this is where you have been hiding little dove” he said to me his hair black and his eyes dark blue like the ocean. “Why do you care” I muttered to him. “Do not be so cold to me Tess” he said kissing my lips softly. “Jack….” I said as my fit toward him ended. “Speechless, turtle dove, have I over step my bounds” he said to me as he pulled away. “You are fine, but I would like some answers, please….” I said looking up to him with my teal eyes. “My actions are the best way, to protect you, can’t you see that” he said as I started to walk off but then turned back to him. “No, I cannot because, you refuse to tell me everything, and quit playing with my emotions. You have made it clear you only wish to find your Serenity” I said crossing my arms and stuck my tounge out at him. “I came back, for Nixon, has been battling Masaru and I know you love him regardless of what has happen. So, I am sure you want to say good bye to him” said Jack to me his words sincere. “He…. Is fighting but why” I asked him with deep concern as I bite my lip lightly. “For your safety, he is one of your protectors who wanted you to have a normal life, that was not to be, Masaru will likely soon push an issue, which you will not be able to escape, for it is the will of Odin…., and the council” Jack explained to me showing compassion he pressed me back toward him and kissed my forehead. “For… what” I asked as my face turned a light pink but felt confuse on whether I should be angry with him or submit to him.
“If, I told you, odds are you would hate, me but I will not make you chose me Tessa Heartlen” he said to me as he pressed my head lightly into his chest. “I could never hate you Jack…., I admit, I might be a tad bit, of a foolish girl but I hate no one for I believe there is light even in a lost dark soul” I said looking at him with a sweet tender look. “Then, I will tell you a little, but only a little, enough to cure your thirst of curiosity my little lamb” he said as he teleported us to the lake with the cheery blossom tree. “I like this place, it is very nice, and peaceful, I am sorry for lashing out to you before” I said to him. I sat upon the grass and crossed my legs. “You, know if you do not wish to speak on the matter, you could tell me a story instead.” I said in a settling tone.
“Well, alright then, there once was a princess of the seven seals. She was the loveliest angelic being any man could have seen she could come in any form that a man should want, however her life held deep sorrow. She was roughly thirteen when she was given to the ruler of the underworld, who goes by many names but his most common name is Hades. In any case the young….”
I then interrupted him “How could she be what a man wanted if she was only thirteen” He then pushed me down in the grass and kissed my lips my heart panicked at how quickly he silenced me. “Do not worry, I will not take all of you, your still too young, and deserve your purity” He spoke lifting from me and teasingly graced his hand on my ear. I lifted myself up as he sat back down on the rock before I could catch enough breath to speak again and he placed his figure on my lips. “Do not interrupt me, now then when I said that I meant when she was a grown women, besides I meet you when you where thirteen as well.” He said to me. “O really, pervert” I said upset but badly flustered. “You are cute when you’re mad” he said to me. “Do not call, me cute, and please finish your story” I said turning away. “As, you wish princess” he spoke in a very proper manner and he stood and bowed to me his arm in place of respect. I could not tell if he was teasing or was serous but, I decided not to talk so that he may continue the story.
“Now where, was I, o, yes, well anyways the girl was given as a gift and things looked dim for the young girl, but luckily for her a hero would come. You see Hades had a son who was a half breed, the boy was not much older than the girl he was sixteen and very well know in his community. He was defiantly his father’s best fighter and best son. In any case the boy fell in love with her at first site and recognized her as the girl he had been spying on from above. He had seen her every day at the lake of the holy royal family. At one, time mortals could go there as well so he knew not weather she was human or an angel. He did know however that at one time a small boy with brown hair would hang with her the two looked very different but acted like siblings. Then one day Odin came and took the boy away and separated the two for whatever reasons. Anyway, I will skip ahead some, the son convinced his father to let him keep the girl. The girl was upset by this at first but, when he released her and gladly would let her leave at any time so she may be free. She decided to stay and the two fell very much in love. This tender romance would last quite some time in secret, but when the father found out of this he ordered his son to hand the girl back to him. He told his son love was a weak emotion. His brothers were shocked that the favorite son, would do such a thing. His brothers and sisters talked among them self’s and Hades then spoke not wanting to seem weak. He told his subject and his children that Jack would no longer be his rightful heir to the throne. He said he would make his eldest son Cain the air to the throne. He also said he would fight his son to the death. Jack never truly loved his father because of the fact his father had taken an angel by force. The second thing is if he did not have such a strong power to him not only would Hades have killed his mother but possible his own son. Hades told Odin of the battle to come and his son Jack forced to be in a cellar for awhile, while the battle was being planned out and the place. During this time, Odin brought the boy with the brown hair with him. The boy was roughly nineteen by this time he took a liking to the girl right away he had hoped that and Odin noticed this, he as well fancied the girl but made an agreement, with Masaru Makoto about possible giving the girl to him. Masaru agreed for he was extremely loyal to Odin. Hades had wanted the girl to go to Cain if he lost, but felt Jack might try to take the young women from, his brother.
