Apple's New iPhone 5 Review

The iPhone 5 is Apple’s new baby. Experts have called it one of the best and most sophisticated redesigns of their smartphone. The iPhone 5 is an upgrade or innovation of the iPhone 4S. In this column we are going to take a look at Apple’s iPhone 5 and some of the advantages that it has over the iPhone 4S.

Why should you upgrade from iPhone 4S to iPhone 5?

The differences between the iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 are as follows:

The iPhone 5 comes equipped with a larger screen for your convenience. If you compare the iPhone 4S and the iPhone 5, you’d notice that the latter has a much bigger screen which is about an inch or so bigger than its predecessor. Now one would think that with the bigger screen the iPhone 5 would be heavier. But this is not the case. It is interestingly lighter than the iPhone 4S. The iPhone 5 comes equipped with a more sophisticated camera than the iPhone 4S.

The video camera on the iPhone 5 can shoot an amazing 1080p HD video. The camera also has another incredible function that amazes me greatly, which is the iPhone 5’s camera’s ability to shoot still pictures while it is at the same time shooting a video. Isn’t this just one of the most amazing things that you have ever heard? The camera of the iPhone 5 also has better processing.

The battery life of the iPhone 5 is longer than that of the iPhone 4S. According to various reviews online and from Apple themselves, the battery life of the phone is so long that you can have 8 hours of talk time and at least 225 hours of stand-by.

The operating system of the iPhone 5 is also an improvement on that of the iPhone 4S.

Having looked at the above differences between the iPhone 5 and the iPhone 4S, I guess you’d end up being the judge. Is it worth it upgrading from the iPhone 4S to the iPhone 5?

At the moment the iPhone is only being sold in developed countries such as United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, France and Japan. According to Apple, the iPhone 5 will be available in other countries before the year ends.
