Anti Kremlin Protests

Authorities in Russia are bracing themselves up for an anti-Kremlin protest that is likely to happen in Russia pretty soon. Many people in Russia have heavily criticized their president, Vladimir Putin for the manner in which he is handling the affairs of the country and his hard line moves that seek to destroy all opposition movements in the country.

According to latest reports from Sky News, thousands of protestors in Russia are expected to gather later today in the country’s capital Moscow to heavily protest against the Kremlin. Among the numerous protestors expected to gather today in Moscow include several heavyweight opposition leaders one of whom includes Yevgenia Chrikova who is one of the biggest figures in the opposition movement in Russia. When it comes to Russian politics, there is no doubt that Vladimir Putin is the supreme Godfather of the Russian politics.

At the moment it seems no political movement can oppose Vladimir Putin and his inner circles. But Yevgenia Chrikova and her numerous supporters believe that although it seems that Vladimir Putin is controlling things now, someday things will change and there would be a shift of power. Many have compared Vladimir Putin to Stalin and some have even said of the President as a reincarnation of Stalin. He rules with a strong iron fist and would crush anyone or group of people that oppose him. However, Yevgenia Chrikova, the mother of two is standing her ground against the giant.

According to her she has only one goal which is to see Russia prosper. Because of her political campaigns, Yevgenia Chrikova has seen and suffered a great deal of ordeals from her opposition. Recently her husband was attacked violently. And in a more recent event, she had her office raided. In spite of all these she is unnerved.
