Gaming is quickly gaining popularity and continues to rank high among the considerations when choosing Android devices.

At a faster pace than ever, the qualities and specs of Android devices improve, which allows the user to play higher quality games. Together with the hardware and OS developments coincide with the creations of even better Android games than ever before.

Google Play store offers a dedicated gaming section where users can browse through a long list of titles. With this wide selection of game genres, there is definitely something that will suit the user's interest.

The classics and favorites are always there, such as Angry Birds, Bebbled, OpenSudoku, and others. Latest games, along with 3D games are also available; some of them have been downloaded more than a million counts.

Game publishers for consoles such as EA Games and Sega among others are continually tweaking a number of their titles to run on the mobile devices.

The gaming section of Google Play has a similar layout as the one seen on the Apps section with just some minor differences. The category section classifies the games further within each category. Here you will see the most downloaded and also the highest rated titles. On the gaming section homepage, a selection of tabs can be seen. These will bring you to the top games and latest ones (both free and paid).

Every game has a page solely dedicated to that particular game title using the same layout as those found in regular apps.

You'd be glad to know that a lot of paid games offered on the Google Play store include a demo version. Take advantage of this feature by trying out the demo before deciding to buy the app.
