The body of 13-year-old Jade Louise Bayliss was found at her Barrington St home in Christchurch on Thursday.
The police are treating the death of Jade as nothing but pure cold murder.
According to reports, the body of the teenage girl was found after emergency services were called during a fire outbreak at the girl’s home.

But police investigators have said that the fire inside the house had been intentionally set.
“There is still more work to be done to confirm the cause of little Jade’s death,” Detective Inspector Virginia Le Bas said
Jade, who was a student at the Cashmere High School and lived at the Barrington St house with two siblings and her mother. On the day she died, she had been sick and was required to stay at home to recuperate. But unfortunately for her someone murdered her that very day.
Meanwhile the police have revealed that two men have been arrested on charges, which according to the police ‘may or may not’ be related to the teenager’s death.
